Commvault Plug-in for SQL Management Studio

You can use Commvault Plug-in to perform Commvault backup and restore operations in the SQL Management Studio. After you configure the Commvault Plug-in on the SQL Management Studio, the options to back up and restore are made available in the SQL Management Studio.

Commvault Plug-in for SQL Management Studio is part of the SQL agent package. To perform configuration, install the SQL agent on the server where SQL Management Studio will be utilized.

Note: We do not support configuring of Commvault Plug-in if SQL Management Studio is installed on a Windows 32-bit operating system.
