Get-CVStoragePolicy

The Get-CVStoragePolicy cmdlet returns information about storage policies in your CommCell environment.

If you do not provide any parameters, Get-CVStoragePolicy returns all of the storage policies in your CommCell environment.

Before you can use this cmdlet, you must log in to your CommCell environment using the Connect-CVServer cmdlet. For more information, see Connecting to a CommCell Environment with PowerShell.

Syntax

Get-CVStoragePolicy
   [[-StoragePolicyName] <String>]
   [[-MAName] <String>]
   [[-CopyName] <String>]
   [<CommonParameters>]

Optional Parameters

-StoragePolicyName

The name of the storage policy that you want to use.

  • Type: String
  • Aliases: None
  • Default value: None
  • Accepts pipeline input: True (ByValue)
  • Accepts wildcard characters: False
  • Position: 1

-MAName

The name of the MediaAgent.

  • Type: String
  • Aliases: None
  • Default value: None
  • Accepts pipeline input: False
  • Accepts wildcard characters: False
  • Position: 2

-CopyName

The name of the copy in the storage policy that you want to use.

  • Type: String
  • Aliases: None
  • Default value: None
  • Accepts pipeline input: False
  • Accepts wildcard characters: False
  • Position: 3

<CommonParameters>

A collection of parameters that you can use with any cmdlet.

The following Microsoft PowerShell common parameters are supported:
