Enabling a Private Metrics Reporting Server that is Automatically Installed with the CommServe Package

If you want to use the Private Metrics Reporting Server after it has been automatically installed with the CommServe package, you must configure an additional setting and enable data collection on the local CommServe server, and any other CommServe server where you want to collect data for Metrics Reports.

If you did not specifically select the Metrics Server package during installation, then you must enable Private Metrics Reporting so that you can use all of the Metrics Reports.

Procedure

  1. To the CommServe server where the Metrics Reporting package is installed, add the CommservMetricsReportingServerEnabled additional setting as shown in the following table.

  2. In the Process Manager, restart CommServe services. For instructions, see Services - Advanced.
  3. Activate data collection on the local CommServe server and each CommServe server where you want to collect data for Metrics Reports. For instructions, see Activating Private Metrics Reporting in CommCell Console.
