I have read emails using the IMAP client, still why do they appear as unread emails in my inbox?

Even after reading your emails, the IMAP clients might display the read emails as unread. This is a Domino limitation.

For more information, see Message Flags in https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/lotus/library/ls-Getting_more_out_of_Internet_mail_with_IMAP/.

How can I recall my emails using the IMAP client?

We do not support email recalls from an IMAP client and Notes Traveler.

During the browse operation of my emails, why am I not able to see the folder names where my emails reside?

If you are viewing your emails from a Notes client, you can see the folder names where your emails reside, provided that @whichfolder is enabled on your mailbox.

For more information, see http://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSVRGU_9.0.0/com.ibm.designer.domino.main.doc/H_WHICHFOLDERS_FUNCTION.html.

However, while restoring the emails, you will not be able to see the folder names during a browse operation as this is a Domino limitation.

My Domino Server is running on a platform that is not supported by the Commvault software. How do I run a backup operation?

Create a replica of your Domino Server on Windows or Linux platforms. Then install the Commvault software on the replica and run a backup operation.

How should I back up archive mailboxes of users on a Domino Server?

To back up archive mailboxes of users on a Domino Server, create the additional setting sSCANADDITIONALDIRECTORIES, and set its value as the additional directory that contains the mailboxes of the users. All the user mailboxes under this additional directory are also discovered, and assigned individually to the subclients. You can then run a backup operation on these subclients.
