Job Summary Report: Completed Jobs by Agents

To view this chart, click on a section of pie in the All Jobs chart. You can view a chart for each job status type.

This chart displays the number of jobs in the selected status for each agent in the CommCell. The following example shows Completed Jobs by Agents.

By clicking on an Agent Type section in this chart, you can view the Completed Jobs in Agent by Clients, which includes more details about all of the jobs in the selected status for the selected agent type.

Summary

This table includes information for jobs that ran on each agent type.

Column

Description

Agent

The type of agent.

Total Jobs

The total number of backup jobs that ran for each agent type.

Size of Application

The amount of data that was backed up for the agent type.

Media Size

The amount of media that was consumed during the backup jobs for the agent type.

Protected Objects

The number of protected objects included in all backup jobs for the agent type.

For Windows and UNIX File System agents, only files are counted as objects. Folders and directories are not counted as objects.

Failed Objects

The number of objects that failed to back up in all jobs for the agent type.

For Windows and UNIX File System agents, only files are counted as objects. Folders and directories are not counted as objects.

Failed Folders

The number of folders that failed to back up in all jobs for the agent type.

Job Details

This table lists each job that ran on the CommCell during the specified period of time.

Column

Description

Job ID

The identifier that was assigned to the job.

CommCell

The name of the CommServe computer.

Client

The name of the client computer where the job ran.

Agent

The type of agent where the job ran.

Instance

The name of the instance where the job ran.

Backup Set

The name of the backup set where the job ran.

Subclient

The name of the subclient where the job ran.

Backup Type

The type of job, such as Full or Incremental.

Operation Type

The type of job, such as Backup, Synthetic Full, or Snap Backup.

Start Time

The date and time when the job initiated.

End Time

The date and time when the job stopped.

Job Status

The status of the job on the subclient, such as Completed, Killed, or Failed.

Size of Application

The amount of data that was included in the job.

Media Size

The amount of media that was consumed by the job.

Network Size

The amount of network space used by the job.

Dedup Savings (%)

The percentage of data that was saved through deduplication.

Protected Objects

The number of protected objects in the job.

Failed Objects

The number of objects that failed to back up or archive during the job.

For Windows and UNIX File System agents, only files are counted as objects. Folders and directories are not counted as objects.

Failed Folders

The number of folders that failed to back up or archive during the job.

Client Group

The name of the client group where the backup job ran.

Storage Policy

The storage policy associated with the job.

MediaAgent

The MediaAgent used for the job.

Failure

A message the describes why the job failed.

Throughput (GB/Hour)

The amount of data throughput in gigabytes per hour.

Is VM

An indication of whether the job ran on a VM.

Parent Job ID

The ID for the parent job.

Virtualization Client

The name of the Virtualization client computer where the job ran.

Data appears only when a Virtual Server is the only agent type selected from the Agents tab. If the Virtual Server option is selected, then the Client, Agent, and Subclient columns do not appear in the table.
