Changing the Administrator for Your Commvault ID

If the only user that is listed as an administrator for a CommCell environment leaves the organization, contact Cloud Services.

We can demote their user account and promote a different, existing user account as the new administrator. The new administrator can then add or remove users, as needed.

Procedure

  • Send an email to CloudServices@commvault.com that contains the following information:
    • CommCell ID
    • Company Name
    • Name and email address for the user that should be demoted
    • Name and email address for the user that should be promoted
