Analytics Options (General)

Files

When selected, file data will be included in the analytics operation.

Emails

When selected, email data will be included in the analytics operation.

Select Index Server

The Index Server to use for the analytics job.

Client Computers

Note: The client computers selection option only applies to analytics performed on Client Groups.

  • Exclude

    Lists the clients associated with the Client Group that you can include in the analytics operation.

  • Include

    Lists the clients associated with the Client Group that will be included with the analytics operation.

Number of Readers

Allows you configure the data streams used by an analytics operation.

  • Number of Streams

    When selected, allows you to specify the number of data streams that will be used at the same time during the analytics operation.

  • Allow Maximum

    When selected, the maximum number of data streams will be automatically used at the same time during the analytics operation.

Clean Up Analyzed Data (if any)

When selected, any data that has already been analyzed with the selected Index Server for the included clients will be erased from the Index Server as part of the analytics job. If the analytics job fails, analytics data will still be erased.

Click to view advanced options for the analytics operation.

Save as Script

Click to open the Save As Script dialog, which allows you to save this operation and the selected options as a script file (in XML format). The script can later be executed from the Command Line Interface using qoperation execute command.

When you save an operation as a script, each option in the dialog will have a corresponding XML parameter in the script file. When executing the script, you can modify the value for any of these XML parameters as per need.
