Social Sign In for the Web Console and Command Center
Users who log on to the Web Console can be authenticated by a social media provider, for example, a user can log on by using credentials from a Google account. OAuth is the authorization framework that performs the single sign-on (SSO) exchange with the social media provider. The Social Sign In Account Registration Workflow is used to validate users and then to create user names in the CommServe database.
OAuth 2.0 is supported. For OAuth specifications, go to the OAuth website, Documentation.
Google accounts are supported. To set up OAuth for Google accounts, see Creating an OAuth Application in the Google Cloud Console.
