Deleting the Oracle RAC Logs after a Backup Operation
You can delete the Oracle RAC logs after a backup operation.
Caution: Verify that the logs in the specified location are backed up. This may cause data loss if those archive logs are not backed up.
- From the CommCell Browser, navigate to Client Computers | <RAC Client> | <Instance>.
- Right-click the <Subclient>, and then click Properties.
- Click the Log Destinations tab.
- Select the Select Archive Log Destinations for Delete check box.
- Click Yes to close the warning message.
- In the Confirmation box, type confirm.
- Click OK.
- Click Add.
- Type or select the Archive log file destination.
- Click OK.
- Click OK.
