Deleting an Instance of Hadoop

If you do not need an instance anymore, you can delete it.

Caution: If you delete an instance, you cannot recover the backup data that is associated with the instance.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers > pseudo-client > Big Data Apps.
2. Right-click the appropriate instance, point to All Tasks, and then click Delete.
3. In the confirmation message, click Yes.

The instance and all of its subclients are deleted.
