Deactivating a Laptop or Computer

If you do not want to back up your laptop or computer, you can deactivate Edge Monitor on it.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Solutions > Laptops.

   The Laptops page appears.

2. For the laptop or computer that you want to deactivate, locate the Actions column, click the action button , and then click Deactivate.

   The Confirm deactivate dialog box appears.

3. Click Yes.

Result

The laptop or computer is no longer backed up. To enable backups, you must activate the laptop or computer once again.
