Creating a Proxy Client for Amazon RDS Protection

After you install the UNIX File System Agent, configure proxy client to facilitate the native database backup operations and restore operations.

Procedure

  1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers, point to New Client, and then click UNIX.

    The Create UNIX Client dialog box appears.

  2. On the General tab, enter the client computer details:

    1. In the Client Name box, type a unique name for the client computer.

    2. In the Host Name box, type the public IP Address of the client computer.

  3. Click OK.
