Configuring Windows Servers for Better Performance

When the MediaAgent and CommServe are installed on Windows Server 2003 or 2008, you can improve the performance of background services.

Procedure

1. Open the operating system System Properties dialog box.

2. On Advanced tab, under Performance, click Settings.

3. In the Performance Options dialog box, on the Advanced tab, select Background Services.

4. Click OK.
