Enabling Content Indexing

Use the Content Index All Subclients workflow to content index the data on Edge Drive and <ObjectStore>.

The workflow allows CommCell administrators to content index the subclient data on all Edge Drive and <ObjectStore> clients in the CommCell environment.

The administrator can execute the workflow from the CommCell Console or using Forms on the Web Console.

How does it work?

This workflow automates the following operations:

1. Retrieves all the Edge Drive and <ObjectStore> clients in the CommCell.

2. Run the content indexing job on all the subclients of each Edge Drive and <ObjectStore> client.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, go to Workflows.

2. Right-click Content Index All Subclients, and then click All Tasks > Execute.

   The Workflow Options dialog box appears.

3. From the Run workflow on list, select the workflow engine.

4. In the Web Server box, type the fully qualified domain name of the Web Server computer that you configured for your Edge Drive or <ObjectStore>, and then click OK.

   You can track the progress of the workflow job from the Job Controller.
