Hitachi NAS (BlueArc), EMC Unity, and Isilon: System Requirements

The File System Core and File System packages are installed on a computer that acts as a proxy computer or data access node. The proxy computer sends the recall requests to the NAS file server.

You can recall stubs by using either File Share Archiver Client or the Driver for File Archiver. The recall drivers can be installed on the same client computer as the File System Agent.

File Servers

The OnePass for Hitachi HNAS (BlueArc) file server feature can perform data protection and recovery operations for data on Hitachi HNAS (BlueArc) file server versions up to 12.5.

  • EMC Unity

  • Dell EqualLogic

Dell Fluid FS file server does not set the offline attribute of stubs. To identify stubs that do not have an offline attribute, see Identifying Stubs With No Offline Attribute for DellFluid FS File Servers.
