Licensing control mechanisms enforce the licenses that you purchased inside the software. When you purchase a Commvault license, you receive a license key file. You must apply that license key in the CommCell Console or the Command Center.
You can monitor license usage by viewing the License Summary Report. Any license that your organization purchases is visible in this report. Information about how usage is calculated is located with the information for the License Summary Report.
