You must configure Novell TCP/IP Services.

If you want to use the Target Service Agents, you must install and configure the Novell Storage Management Service.

To ensure proper operations, you must have some form of name resolution between your CommServe server, OES Linux computer, and MediaAgent. Also, configure DNS services on the OES Linux computer.

Use the OES File System Agent to protect the data on NSS volumes on an OES Linux computer. To protect the data on a POSIX File System, use the Linux File System Agent.
