Prevent Jobs From Being Copied

You can prevent jobs from being copied during an Auxiliary Copy operation.

About This Task

  • If you prevent a job from being copied, you can still restore the job from the primary copy as long as the data on the primary copy is not pruned.

  • If you prevent copy of the last backup job from a cycle, the next backup job in the cycle is forced to be a full backup.

  • For Database Agents, if you disable an incremental or differential backup, all subsequent backups will be disabled up to the next full backup.
