Use this dialog box to view or provide general information and user account information about the Exchange agent.
The items that appear on the dialog box depend on which agent you use. Not all of the items described in this topic appear on the Properties dialog box.
Client Name
The name of the client computer where the agent is located.
iDataAgent
The name of the agent that is located on the client computer.
Installed Date
The date when the Exchange package was installed or upgraded on the client computer.
Exchange Administrator Account
The Exchange Administrator Account for the site where this Exchange Server resides. You can click Change Account to change the account credentials.
Change Account
You provide the Exchange Administrator Account credentials initially when you created the agent. However, if you change the account that is associated with this agent, you can change the credentials by clicking this button.
Filter For Discovery
Specifies whether to use LDAP filtering for discovery operations. When this check box is selected, an LDAP filter must be entered into the corresponding box.
The following example filters out system mailboxes that reside on the SERVERNAME server from discovery operations:
"(&(msExchHomeServerName=*/cn=SERVERNAME)(!(CN=SystemMailbox{*)))"
When the check box is cleared, user-specified LDAP filtering is not used for discovery operations.
You should have expert-level knowledge about constructing LDAP queries to use this option. Incorrect use of the LDAP filtering option can result in failed discovery and data protection operations.
Exchange On-Premises

Profile Name
The name of the Outlook profile that is associated with the appropriate Administrator Mailbox. You can change this name.

Administrator Mailbox Name
The name of the mailbox that is associated with the appropriate Administrator profile. You can change this name.

Exchange Server Name
The host name of the Exchange server that is installed on the client computer. You can change the host name.
When you back up Exchange Database Availability Group (DAG) servers, you need to list each member server that has the mailbox server role.
If you enter multiple server names, separate each one with a semicolon (;).

Exchange Version
Lists the version of the Exchange Server that is installed on the client computer. To modify the version, select one from the list.
Exchange Online

Profile Name
The name of the Outlook profile that is associated with the appropriate Administrator Mailbox. You can change this name.

Exchange Online Administrator Account
The primary SMTP address that you use to connect to Office 365 with Exchange using Windows PowerShell. You can click Change Account to change the account credentials.

Change Account
If you change the account that you use to connect to Office 365 with Exchange, you can change the credentials by clicking this button.
Backup Deleted Item Retention
When this check box is selected, you enable backups of the Deleted Item Retention folder. By default, the Deleted Item Retention folder is not included in backups.
When this check box is cleared, backups of the Deleted Item Retention folder are disabled.
Manage Content Automatically
When this check box is selected, auto discovered content is assigned to the subclients automatically.
By default, if a change is made to an automatically discovered mailbox that alters the association criteria that is used to discover the mailbox, the next backup will reassign the mailbox automatically to the subclient that meets the new criteria.
