Change the Client Computer Name of the MediaAgent That Is Available in the Second Instance

Change the client computer name of the MediaAgent that is available in the second instance of the old CommServe-MediaAgent computer.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, right-click the MediaAgent name that you want to change, and then click Properties.

2. In the Names section of the General tab, click Edit.

3. In the Edit MediaAgent Name window, update MediaAgent Name with the new name.

   Note

   The MediaAgent CommServe Host Name displays the full interface name of the CommServe computer used by the MediaAgent to communicate with the CommServe.

4. Click OK to save the changes.
