Changing the Dell EMC VPLEX Backend Engine

If you need to change the engine that the Dell EMC VMAX uses, update the VPLEX_VMAX_SNAP_ENGINE_<ArraySerial> additional setting. The default snapshot engine is Dell EMC TimeFinder Snap.

Procedure

• To the MediaAgent client, add the additional setting as shown in the following table.
