Configuring the Index Server for ObjectStore

The Index Server is that logical CommCell entity that you use to perform indexing on the data for ObjectStore.

Before You Begin

• Ensure that the Index Store clients that you want to use for the ObjectStore Index Server meet the system requirements.

  For more information, see System Requirements- Index Store Package.

Procedure

• Create an Index Server for ObjectStore, associate the Index Store client that you configured for ObjectStore, and then add the Edge Drive role to the Index Server.

Result

You can use the configured Index Server for ObjectStore functions.
