Configuring the MySQL Database Version of a Proxy Client Computer

You can configure the MySQL database version of a proxy client computer that is added to a pseudoclient.

Before You Begin

Verify that the proxy client computer is in the running state.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, go to Client Computers > pseudoclient.

2. Right-click MySQL, and then click Properties.

   The MySQL Properties dialog box appears.

3. On the Cloud Configuration tab, click the proxy client computer for which you want to configure the database version.

4. Verify that the MySQL database version and the path to the MySQL database are populated (for example, /usr/bin if the MySQL application installed on the proxy client computer and software_instalation_directory/CVCloudAddOns/MySQL/mysql_version/bin if the MySQL application is not installed on the proxy client computer):

   • If the properties are populated, click OK.

   • If the properties are not populated, then complete the following steps:

     1. Click Add.

     2. Add the properties.

     3. Click OK.
