Configuring an Oracle Client for IntelliSnap

Configure the client for IntelliSnap operations.

Before You Begin

For OCFS volumes, if yum is not available, you need the OCFS tools package (ocfs2-tools.rpm) from Oracle. You must also configure the o2cb cluster stack by running the o2cb.init configur``e command on each node of the cluster.

Procedure

  1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers.

  2. Right-click the client, and then click Properties.

    The Client Computer Properties dialog box appears.

  3. Click Advanced.

    The Advanced Client Properties dialog box appears.

  4. Select the Enable IntelliSnap check box.

  5. From the Available Snap Engines list, select the appropriate engine.

Click OK.
