Configuring Users in a User Group for Laptop Backup

You can include users who are not members of the Administrators group as owners to a client computer user group to enable future backup and restore operations through the Web Console for the client computers in that group.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computer Groups > Laptop Clients.

2. Right-click the appropriate client and click Properties.

3. In the Client Computer Properties dialog box, click the Security tab.

4. Click the Owners tab and specify the owner in the Client Owner box.

   You can specify the Active Directory user accounts or CommCell user accounts.

5. Click OK.
