Considerations for the Dell EMC VPLEX Storage Array

Before using the IntelliSnap feature for this storage array, read the following limitations and special conditions.

  • The current support is available for simple devices only – one storage volume with one extent with one device (local or distributed) with one virtual volume (local or distributed).

  • When adding multiple VPLEX virtual volumes, they must all originate from one backend storage array.

  • The hardware revert operation is not supported for Dell EMC VPLEX-HPE 3PAR StoreServ arrays.
