Create New Association (Policies)

Use this dialog box to associate mailboxes with the subclient. On the Policies tab, you assign Exchange policies to the associated mailboxes.

The following types of Exchange policies are available according to the mailbox type that you selected:

Mailbox type	Exchange policies
User Mailbox	Archiving Cleanup Retention If the mailbox that you select was originally associated with the subclient as part of a database or AD Group, and automatic discovery was enabled, then changing the policy changes the discovery type to manual. To continue to autodiscover mailboxes, you must change the discovery type to automatic.
