Use this page in the Discovered template wizard to specify the key for key value pairs.
Column Name
The name of the key for key value pairs. Not all of the keys you define in the template need to exist in the log file.
Column Data type
The data type of the key.
Type Format
The format for the data type. The format varies depending on the data type. For example, if the data type is Date, the type format could be MM/DD.
Display Name
The user-defined name for the key.
Please select the primary template
The primary template to use with the Discovered template. The primary template is used to index the log data. The Discovered template is applied after the primary template and extracts the key value pairs.
Add
Opens the Add Column dialog box to define a key.
Edit
Opens the Edit Column dialog box to modify the properties of the selected key.
Delete
Deletes the selected key.
