Use this dialog box to:

View the details of the data paths associated with the primary storage policy copy of the selected storage policy or incremental storage policy.

Remove a data path for the subclient.

Modify the priority of the data paths for the subclient.
Note that the data path which is established as the preferred data path in the storage policy copy is displayed using the bold font.
Override Data Paths
Specifies whether the subclient will use or override the priority established for data paths in the storage policy copy. By default the check-box is not selected to indicate that the subclient will use the priority established for data paths in the storage policy copy. Select this check box to override the established priority. This will allow you to edit the Priority and Use boxes associated with the data paths listed in the bottom pane.

Refresh Priority
Click to sort the data paths based on the established priority.

Priority
Displays the priority for the data path. If necessary, click the box and type a new number as priority for the data path. Valid priority is any number between 0 and 998. A smaller number indicates a higher priority, while larger numbers indicates lower priority.

Use
Specifies whether the data path will be used by the subclient. Clear this check-box to disable the data path for the subclient.

Status
Whether the data path is set as the preferred data path in the storage policy copy. The icon includes a tick mark, when it is set as the preferred data path.

Library
The name of the library attached to the MediaAgent.

MediaAgent
The name of the MediaAgent associated with the Storage Policy.

DrivePool
The name of the drive pool configured to access the library.

Scratch Pool
The name of the scratch pool associated with the data path.

Client Interface
The interface used by client computer to transfer data between the client and MediaAgent computers during data protection or data recovery operations.

MediaAgent Interface
The interface used by MediaAgent computer to transfer data between the client and MediaAgent computers during data protection or data recovery operations.

Hardware Compression
Indicates whether hardware compression is enabled or disabled for the selected storage policy. Hardware compression is enabled or disabled from the Data Path Properties dialog box, which can be accessed from the storage policy copy.

Enable
Indicates whether the data path is enabled in the storage policy copy.
