You can enable IPv6 support on a computer after installing Commvault software on it.
Note
You must perform these steps on each computer in a CommCell group.
Procedure

From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers.

Right-click the client > Properties > Advanced.

Click the Additional Settings tab, and then click Add.

In the Name field, type nPreferredIPFamily.

In the Value field, enter one of the following values:

0 for both IPv4 and IPv6 support

1 for IPv4 support only

2 for only IPv6 support only

Click OK.

Restart the Commvault services.
