Enabling Password History to Prevent Users from Reusing Previous Passwords

You can add the bMaintainPasswordHistory additional setting to enable password history in order to prevent users from reusing a specified number of previous passwords. After you add the bMaintainPasswordHistory additional setting, the Number of previous passwords you cannot reuse box is enabled (displayed) for the following:

• User groups

• CommCell environments

• Organizations

Procedure

• To the CommServe computer, add the bMaintainPasswordHistory additional setting as shown in the following table.
