- On Commvault software, add and configure the Kaminario storage array in IntelliSnap Array Management. See Setting Up the Kaminario Array Using Array Management.
The Kaminario storage array is now ready to operate.

Choose one of the supported agents for the Kaminario storage array.

When you run the snapshot backup operation, a retention policy is created. The Commvault software creates the retention policy in the Kaminario storage array, named as CV__CommvaultIntelliSnap, and then sets this retention policy to retain snapshots as long as possible. Do not change this retention policy.
