Deprecation
Outlook Add-In with ContentStore Email Viewer is deprecated for versions more recent than Outlook 2016. If you upgrade your Outlook version from 2016 to a more recent version, the Commvault Outlook Add-in with ContentStore Email Viewer will no longer work. You can continue to use Outlook Add-In with ContentStore Email Viewer with Outlook 2016.
Archived emails that are content indexed are located in the ContentStore. Outlook Add-In with ContentStore Email Viewer provides users with direct access to messages within the ContentStore by creating a virtual folder view of the entire set of managed content. After the End-User Search is configured, end users can search their data in the ContentStore, even if the folders were not stubbed.
