Preventing Automatic Client Owner Assignment

You can turn off automatic client owner assignment by the Commvault Communication Service (CVD). When users activate Edge Monitor, they are assigned as client owners.

Procedure

To configure the user as client owner:

• On the CommServe computer, add the ClientGroupForLaptop additional setting with a non-existing client group name as value.
