Repairing an Installation on a UNIX-Based Client Computer Locally - Interactive Repair

You can perform an interactive repair of a Commvault installation on a UNIX-based client computer locally.

Note

The CVD service must be running in order to perform a repair.

Procedure

  1. Run the following command from the installation package or mount point:

    ./cvpkgadd

    To run the installation as a SUDO user with root privileges, run the following command from the installation package or mount point:

    sudo ./cvpkgadd
  2. On the Welcome page, click Next.

  3. On the Install Task page, select Install packages on this machine, and then click Next.

  4. Select the instance that needs to be repaired, select Repair the instance, and then click Next.
