You can select a specific backup job for a restore. This method of restoring data is faster and useful in the following scenarios:

To restore point-in-time data associated with a specific backup job

To restore multiplexed data from the same client
The Restores by Jobs feature uses the same number of streams used by the backup job. For more information on configuring multiple streams for subclients, see Configuring Multiple Data Streams for the Windows File System Agent.
Note: The Restore by Jobs feature is not available for Laptop clients and on computers where the standalone File System Core package is installed.
