Searching a Data Source in Data Cube

After you collect data in Data Cube, you can search the data.

Before You Begin

You must crawl the data source. See Crawling Data Connections.

Procedure

1. In a web browser, log on to the Web Console, and then click Analytics.

2. In the left pane, click the connector group to view the data sources for that connector.

3. On the Data Sources page, in the box of the data source that you want to search, click the name of the data source.

   The default search report appears.

4. In the search bar, enter your search terms, and then press the Enter key.

   The data that matches your search terms appears in the search view.

5. To search in a different report, in the upper left beside the name of the report, click the down arrow , and from the report list, click the report.

   Note

   Not all reports include the search bar component. For information about adding a search bar component to a report, see Configuring Search Bar Components for Build Your Own Reports.
