Skipping the Modification in Dynamic TCP Port Range

You can instruct the system to skip the modification in dynamic TCP port range by applying the bSkipExtendingDynamicPortRange additional setting to the CommServe-MediaAgent computer.

Procedure

  1. Open the Windows Registry Editor, and go to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ directory.

  2. Right-click SOFTWARE, and then click New > Key.

  3. Name the new key as GalaxyInstallerFlags.

  4. Right-click GalaxyInstallerFlags, and then click New > DWORD.

  5. Name the new value as bSkipExtendingDynamicPortRange.

  6. Double-click bSkipExtendingDynamicPortRange, set the Value data to 1, and then click OK.

  7. Close the Registry Editor.
