The Snap Configuration tab contains properties that affect the behavior of the storage array in your environment.

Storage Device Group |
The name of the volume group that is created on the array for snapshot operations. |
Use Device only from this Group |
If you select this option, then only snapshot devices that are available in the storage pool that is specified inStorage Device Group are used. |
SMIS Server Port |
The value for the array SMI-S server port. The default value is 5988. |
Use secure connection to SMIS Server |
Select this option to connect to the client using secure socket layer (SSL). |
LSI Array Password |
The password to access the NetApp E-Series/LSI array. Use the password set in the SMI-S server with the SANtricity plug-in. The password is authenticated against the SMI-S password for snapshot creation. If the passwords do not match, then the snapshot or the clone creation fails. |
Enable HostGroup Mapping |
Select this option to allow storage volumes map to host/cluster group level. Select this option only when the host group/cluster group contains either ESX or Windows hosts. This option applies only to the Windows platform. |
LSI OEM vendor ID |
The LSI OEM array vendor name, if IntelliSnap does not identify the LSI OEM vendor. By default, this value is empty. |
LSI OEM Product ID |
The LSI OEM array product ID, if IntelliSnap does not identify the LSI OEM product ID. By default, this value is empty. |
SMI-S Provider NameSpace |
The namespace that is defined by the LSI OEM vendor SMI-S provider. By default, this value is empty, and LSI IntelliSnap uses the root/LsiArray13 namespace. If you use SMIS-S Provider version 10.34, then specify the NameSpace as /root/netapp/santricity, and see the following SMI-S CIM ClassName Prefix property. |
SMI-S CIM ClassName Prefix |
The CIM ClassName prefix that is defined by the LSI OEM vendor SMI-S provider. By default, this value is empty, and LSI IntelliSnap uses the “LSISSI” class name prefix. If you use SMIS-S Provider version 10.34, then specify ClassName as NETAPP, and see the preceding SMI-S CIM Provider NameSpace property. |
Use Consistency Group |
Select this option to enable the consistency group for PiT operations, which reduces the time to verify the consistency of participating disks. |
