Symmetrix Remote Data Facility (SRDF)/Metro enables a high-availability solution at metro distances with active-active and read/write capabilities at both sites.
An SRDF/Metro pair is formed by one local array and one remote array. The Commvault software creates snapshots on both arrays of the SRDF/Metro pair, so if one array is not available, you can restore snapshots from the other side of the pair.
Considerations

You cannot run the snapshot revert operation in SRDF/Metro.

The subclient content cannot be a mix of SRDF/Metro volumes and non-SRDF/Metro volumes.
