System Requirements for the Oracle ZFS Storage Array

Before you configure your storage array, verify that your environment meets the following requirements.

Licenses

Install the following licenses.

Snapshot Type	License
Snapshot	Separate cloning license per controller or node

Use the following version and firmware.

Array	Version and Firmware
Oracle ZFS	Oracle ZFS Engine supports both ZS3-2 and ZS3-4 with the minimum firmware versions required for these appliances. For earlier versions of the Oracle ZFS, use versions: For environments not using VMware agents, use 2013.1.0.1 For environments not using VMware agents, use 2011.1.4.2

Array	Protocol
Oracle ZFS	Fibre Channel iSCSI

Install the following software.
