Using a Browse and Restore Operation to View Hidden Files

You can view and restore files that are hidden by the operating system.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, go to Client Computers > client > File System.

2. Click the backup set.

3. Right-click the subclient, and then go to All Tasks > Browse and Restore.

   The Browse and Restore Options dialog box appears.

4. On the Advanced Options tab, select the Include Troubleshooting Folders check box.

5. Click View Content.

   The Browse page appears.

6. Select all the folders that you want to recover, and then click Recover All Selected.

   The Restore Options dialog box appears.

7. On the General tab, select the client that you want to restore the folders to.

8. Click OK.
