Virtual Server Instance Properties (General)

Use this dialog box to define a new instance or view the properties of an existing instance.

Client Name

Displays the name of the client computer on which this instance is found.

iDataAgent

Displays the name of the agent to which this instance belongs (Virtual Server).

Instance Name

By default, displays Hyper-V as the instance name. You can change the instance name.

Vendor Type

Displays Microsoft Hyper-V as the vendor type.

Microsoft Hyper-V

Use this section to view or change user credentials for the instance.

User Account

Displays the user account that is specified for accessing the Hyper-V node or cluster. Click Change to specify a different user account.

Guest Credentials

Provides credentials that can be used to log on to guest virtual machines in the instance. To change guest VM credentials, click Change.

Description

Use this field to enter a description about the entity, such as the content of the instance or notes about intended usage.
