The VM Lifecycle Management feature provides virtual machine users with the ability to create and manage their own virtual machines from a user-friendly interface. Administrators set up pre-defined templates to control configuration settings, such as disk space, and to effectively manage resources. Once a template is created, end users can build and customize their own virtual machines in the Virtual Machines application on Web Console. In your environment, if there are multiple tenants where users have installed virtual machine clients, those tenant users will see only the clients and virtual machine resources that they own. For more information, see Commvault for Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
VM Lifecycle Management is available for most Virtual Server agent types.
