Enabling IntelliSnap and Selecting a Snapshot Engine for File Servers

To back up a subclient with IntelliSnap, you must enable IntelliSnap and select a snapshot engine.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > File servers.

   The File servers page appears.

2. Click a file server.

   The file server properties page appears.

3. Under Subclients, click a subclient.

   The subclient properties page appears.

4. In the Snapshot section, enable the Enabled slider.

   The Edit snapshot dialog box appears.

5. From the Engine name list, select a snapshot engine, and then click Save.
