Getting Started with Epic EHR Systems

Verify that the environment meets the system requirements, add the server, create a subclient, and then perform a test backup and restore.

Procedure

1. Verify that your environment meets the system requirements for AIX or Linux servers that host the InterSystems Caché databases.

2. Complete the file server guided setup.

3. Create a subclient, and then enable IntelliSnap for the subclient.

4. To verify that the file server and subclients are set up correctly, perform a test backup and restore.
