Marking a Server as Infrastructure

You can mark a server as infrastructure. By default, the Servers page lists the infrastructure servers.

By default, a server is classified as infrastructure when it has any of the following packages installed:

• CommServe

• Index Store

• Web Server

• Content Extractor

• Virtual Server Agent (VSA)

• Web Console

• Content Analyzer

• Exchange

• Cloud Apps

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Servers.

   The Servers page appears.

2. In the row for the server that you want to mark as infrastructure, click the action button , and then click Mark as infrastructure.

   The Confirm infrastructure state change dialog box appears.

3. Click Yes.
