Adding an Access Node (Also Called Gateway)

You can add an access node (also called gateway).

You must take into account the following information:

• If there is a gateway connecting the Command Center to the CommServe computer, provide the fully qualified domain name of the gateway (for example, gateway.gatewayservices.com)

  • The host name of the proxy computer must be resolvable from outside of the perimeter network and inside the local network.

  • Verify that port 8403 is open for connections from outside of the perimeter network and inside the local network.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Servers.

   The Servers page appears.

2. In the upper-right, click Add gateway.

   The Add gateway dialog box appears.

3. In the Host name box, enter the host name.

4. In the Server name box, enter the name of the server.

5. For OS Type, select the operating system type.

6. Click Save.
