Adding an Additional File Server for Nutanix Files Exported to NFS

You can add an additional file server for Nutanix Files that are exported to NFS.

When you add a file server, a backup set, and a default subclient are automatically created.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > File servers.

    The File servers page appears.

  2. In the upper-right area of the page, click Add server.

    The Add server dialog box appears.

  3. Click Nutanix Files.

    The Add Nutanix Files dialog box appears.

  4. In the Name box, enter the file server name.

  5. From the File server list, select the host name.

  6. From the Plan list, select the server plan to use for the file server.

  7. Move the NFS toggle key to the right.

  8. For Access nodes, select the Linux access nodes to use for backups of the file server.

    Important

    The access nodes that you select must have the same feature release.

  9. For Backup content, click Edit, and then select the NFS export.

  10. Click Save.
