Application Users in the License Summary Report

The Application Users view of the License Summary Report displays details about Application User licenses, such as the email addresses and applications associated with users, as well as usage that is excluded from the capacity license.

Usage Calculation

In environments that include Exchange mailboxes but do not have a Mailbox Archive Solution license, Exchange mailbox backups count toward capacity-type license usage.

Where to Access the Report

To view this report, in the License Summary Report, in the User Licenses table, under License, click Application Users.

Application Users

The Application Users table displays each email address associated with a user who is covered by the Application Users license and the mail applications associated with the email address.

Column

Description

SMTP

The email address associated with the user that is covered by the Application Users license.

Exchange Mailbox

An indication of whether the email address is configured to use Exchange Mailbox.

Cloud Apps

An indication of whether the email address is configured to use Cloud Apps.

SharePoint Online

An indication of whether the email address is configured to use SharePoint Online.

Company ID

The ID that is assigned to the organization.

Company

The organization that owns the client computer.

Plan

The plan that is associated with the hypervisor host.

Usages Excluded From Capacity Because Of Application Users License

This table displays the jobs excluded from capacity when you purchase the Application Users license.

Column

License ID

The ID of the license.

The type of license.

Job ID

The ID for the job that ran.

Job Type

The type of job that ran, such as Backup.

Client ID

The ID of the client computer.

The client computer where the hypervisor host is located.

Agent ID

The ID of the agent type.

Backup Set ID

The ID of the backup set.

The storage policy that is associated with the subclient.

Usage

The amount of data that was backed up.

For Protected VMs, the sum of guest sizes for each VM that was backed up under a subclient.

If a VM is backed up under two different subclients, then the software counts only the most recent backup job for the VM.

The ID of the organization.
